LNDN Fashion Week

Usually Paris fashion week is my favorite week of the kind since most of my favorite brands show there. This year I am thrilled about London Fashion Week. I love the avant-garde style the houses have shown so far and I think it is a great time for London fashion. Below I will discuss what I thought was the best of the best.

Favorite Girls

Speaking of The Sartorialist and bikes, here is my favurite of the kind. I love her cool pose and that is a beautiful bike. Also, when I ride my bike, I look like a five year old. My clothes is not were they should be and my hair is in my face. But this girl, I dont look half as sophisticated even when I'm not riding my bike.

This is another favurite sartorialist-girl of mine. She looks so cool and composed, and yet she has super stylistic shoes and all it lookes like she just got out of bed. When I want to sport that kind of look I always get more sneakers and a dress, but this is way better. This type of easy look feel out of reach for me. She looks so calm and cool and I would just feel uptight probably. I wish I could have a braid like that, like I just dont care.

N*E*R*D

This is Kate Young and in Stockholm this winter every girl looked like this! It is a good look until all your firends and their firends look the same. I just cant handle that, it is to much. Don't get me wrong, I used to look like that to.

Anyway The Sartorialist is in Stockholm as we speak! I am excited to see the pics, but I am afraid that I will see somebody I dislike or typical "stockholm-styles". And I know The Sartorialist like styles on bikes, so hopefully he took a paparazzi of me riding my bike.

CHLOÈ

It is very interesting what is happening to Chloé, I has been one of my favorite brands for a very long time. Actually my first high fashion purchase was a pair of Chloé shoes. I was never really keen on Stella McCartney, but Pheobe Philó did a great job. Her final collection for Chloé was one of the best I have ever seen. Outrageous and new, absolutely beautiful.
The Spring/Summer collection for this year was a complete let down thou. I did not like it at all, I thought it looked like a Burberry rip-off or something. And now with a new designer once again, Paulo Melim Andersson, Chloé is headed for some exiting new times. From what you read in Style.com he said:
"She's angry, but funny-angry. A girl who steals from her mother. I want this to be young-young, with no tricks. Clean, but not minimal.", and I thought that was quite good. I love the shoes and that the clothes isn't sweet and completely beautiful, it is more like they tell a story. The shoes are perfect for Sweden's snowy winters, perhaps since Andersson is a completely Swedish last name.

Viktor unt Rolf

Viktor & Rolf presented folklore aswell. The girls all looked very Dutch to me. Loved it!

New Stuff

Paris Fashion Week is always great fun. This year the new shows have surprised me a lot. I have got some new favorite brands and my old favorites have disappointed me. The only one that I still love is Balenciaga. OMG that was so fresh! Love the folkloristic look and the hair tucked in to the collar, with center spread, that is my signature look! The shoes again, they look like hokey helmets instead of machines this time. Oh lord, please hire me in the Balenciaga store!

Jil Jil, Raf Raf

This week is Milan Fashion Week, so let's take a wile to talk about one of my favorite collections from last season, Jil Sander. Hopefully the next show will be up on style.com soon, but until then, I just cant get over this.

The brave colors first. I love that orange suit (click image for better picture) and the metallic accessories. And speaking of accessories, the shoes, the height of those heels, I get dizzy just looking at them. One thing I just noticed, how perfect the collar of the shirt and the collar of the jacket collaborate. It is almost like a ministers collar. This is the most beautiful women’s suit I have seen, ever, I think. They are just so modern and stylistic, just like it should be.
